DADO Manufacturing, established in 1998 is a manufacturer of luxury and quality bathware using our uniquely engineered material, DADOquartz®, to innovatively craft bathtubs and basins.

As a commitment to our pledge for quality craftsmanship, every DADOquartz® bathtub and basin is meticulously inspected, and hand-finished to perfection.

DADOquartz® is created from quartz ore and southern African earth minerals. Quartz is a noble variety of silica, giving DADOquartz® its alluring characteristics of wellness and sustainability, as well as its eco-friendly nature.


Import tax

South Africa has favourable trade agreements, ensuring duty-free exports to North America and Europe.


DADOquartz® lifetime warranty

We are undoubtedly about the quality and reliability of our products to such an extent that each DADOquartz® bathtub and basin is backed by a lifetime warranty. DADO Manufacturing warrants DADOquartz® bathtubs and basins to be free from defects in materials or craftsmanship for a period of 25 years from the date of delivery. This is a symbol of our commitment to our customers and their peace of mind.


Manufacturing discreetness

We respect the identity of our suppliers and clients and treat all relationships discreetly. While we manufacture products on behalf of some of the most well-known global bathware brands, we do not advertise such without consent.


European Standards compliance

We have obtained European Standards compliance for the product that we applied for.

European Standard NEN-EN 14516-2015:


  • defines requirements,
  • tests methods and procedures for evaluation of conformity for baths used for domestic (residential and commercial) purposes and personal hygiene, and
  • ensures that the product will satisfy cleanability and durability requirements when installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, will satisfy requirements for cleanability and durability.

The European Standard is applicable to all sizes and shapes of baths. This standard does not cover baths used with medical provisions. The compliance of DADO Manufacturing bathtubs with the European Standard is marked by a CE-label and serial number displayed at the bottom of our baths.
